I think most of the sky has fallen -

I can see in reviewing reports for the Fort Lauderdale area that inventory has dropped. GOOD! There were too many people doing the short sale, when they did not have a good handle on what it was and was blinded by the title and their perception of what was to happen. People listed out of panic and situation and caused a glut of properties that did not help anyone. New Appraisal Legislation Brings Good News - as seen in Harvey's Mortgage Weekly at First Trust Mortgage

Good and Bad changes to FHA condo approval process on 10/1/2009

As of 10/1/09, there are some significant changes being made to the process for approving condos for FHA financing. Some of the major changes are:

The Spot Approval process is eliminated

Condo project approvals will expire every 2 years

Condo projects may be approved for buildings with 2 or more units

Right of first refusal is permitted unless it violates discriminatory conduct
